Dr. Cody graduated from the University of Florida with her DVM degree in 2003. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree from UF.
Dr. Cody is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Cody was Senior Research Laboratory Technician in neuropsychology at UF for 4 years during her post baccalaureate studies and has published several papers. During veterinary school, she was UF CVM Open House Co-Chair and Chairperson. Since graduating with her DVM, Dr. Cody has been an associate and has owned her own mobile practice in south Florida. After falling in love with this area, she sold her mobile practice, bought a ranch in Wellborn, and found the perfect fit at Caring Hands Animal Hospital. She became an associate veterinarian at CHAH in June, 2015.
Professional interests include diagnostic imaging and surgery.
Dr. Cody and her husband enjoy raising registered miniature zebu and angus cattle; riding their horses, ATVs, or motorcycles; fishing; and spending time with their many dogs, cats, and birds.
